Place RFID/Bluetooth/WiFi monitors in front of stores. Read all available information to try to connect the device with a person.
Send the data to a central repository (for correlation) via WiFi and 3g cellular data.
Sell access to the data stream, which would be useful to marketers.
At a more granular level inside stores, place devices in each aisle. In grocery stores, correlate with person's discount card.
