Could be cloned with a subset of features. Consider adding email parsing support "Tasker, but unless there's a mail parser plugin I haven't come across (or unless you write one), it won't take actions based on the content of e-mail messages. It will, however, react to SMS message content."

TV Ad Skipping
Dish TV's Auto Hop service to skip commercials on shows that are a day old. Content providers are suing Dish TV.
How could this be done as a stand-alone service?
+ coding by humans with computer help
+ tag commercials within the show based on time/audio/DBS/video frame
How to fast-forward?
+ Application in smart TV to press fast forward button.
+ Separate device to send fast forward IR code on remote.
+ Smart phone app.
Instead of hiring people to watch TV, could the tagging be crowd sourced? Then rate the tagger. Give prizes or pay to top taggers.

Sun Tube For Buildings
Solatube is well-known in the segment of reflecting light through tubes into a house. Commercial sizes are 10" - 21". Residential sizes are 10" - 14", with customization of lenses.
Can a big collector on roof feed a small tube with a large lens?
To increase collected light and possibly decrease tube size:
1) put 4 or 6 or 8 sides of glass in the collector that are transparent. Each section of glass can be energized to become reflective. The reflectivity will bounce the sun that would have gone through the dome into the tube.
2) like the spinning reflectors that move on their own, create similar reflectors that align on their own to reflect the sun.
