Electricity Management

http://machenergy.com/solutions

MACH collects interval data from your building's utility electric meters on a daily basis. We also collect historical usage data direct from your utility company, typically 2 years back in time. Our on-demand software then allows authorized users to.

* Consolidate and organize all of your company's electricity expense information in one place - across all utility jurisdictions. No more need to key-in and try to compare electricity usage and cost numbers from differently formatted utility bills or deal with differing bill cycles.
* Easily create online electricity budgets taking into account temperature, occupancy and electric rate escalation.
* Run variance reports of actual vs. budget - by building and by portfolio.
* Identify and prioritize savings opportunities and measure progress toward savings targets with management level, portfolio performance reporting.
* Fine tune building operations using MACH's Expected Operating Envelope™ technology to normalize building operations for temperature and get a true measure of savings.
* Quickly respond to deviations from normal operations with automated alerting based on the MACH Expected Operating Envelope technology.

Supplement Automobile Starting Battery

A capacitor with clamps to the automobile starting battery to trickle-charge a car battery during extended parks. This is particularly useful for maintaining battery charge and cold start ability in cold climates.
Cold climates (winter) typically have limited sunlight so the small/cheap ($20) 1.5v solar cells will not be as effective when most needed.

1.2-farad capacitor (24-volt surge), $100: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120PP912U/Tsunami-LITEWAVE-Series-PP912UM-CAP.html?search=capacitor&tp=2614

This will disconnect automobile electronic power drains if the battery is losing charge:

Utility/Service District

Start your own service district to serve utilities. These districts are set up via approval by voters, are not governmental, and absolutely control the area with power of unlimited assessment.
You don't actually need to run the systems, though funding is steady and lucrative.

Example districts: undergound utilities (to bury power lines), sanitation, water, ...
