Make intelligent absorbent to capture fluoride to sell product to homeowners who want to clean their drinking water.
Make intelligent absorbent to capture arsenic to sell to gold mines to mitigate any leach pond leaks.

"... running the contaminated water through the fine nanotubes and fibres, which trap the radioactive Cesium (Cs+) ions through a structural change."
"By adding silver oxide nanocrystals to the outer surface, the nanostructures are able to capture and immobilise radioactive iodine (I-) ions"
"Australia is one of the largest producers of titania that are the raw materials used for fabricating the absorbents of titanate nanofibres and nanotubes."
How much to do the research and get a product going?
All the nano stuff is still cutting edge new. Manufacturing nano things is expensive based on wirk I started at ____. We made nano pigment particles for coloring paints. Limited use due to expense and we weren't making the nano structure itself and depositing nano crystals. Conventional crystal making has a long history which you would probably need to try to do it in nano size.
