As a member of the Presales team, you will play a key role as a technical liaison for Senior Sales Representatives and clients. You will be presenting and demonstrating Quest’s Identity Management Solutions at customer sites, performing white board presentations, architecture overviews, product walkthroughs and proof of concepts. This is a field position that requires 60 – 70% travel to clients. The position can be based in anywhere in the Western US.


Technical Requirements:

• 3+ years hands on experience in Identity Management, including experience in:

- User Provisioning and management

- Help Desk, User Self Service and password management

- Computer Associates Identity Management (or Netegrity)

- Multiple Directory Integration or Synchronization

- Account workflow and management

- Single Sign On and system integration to consolidate user accounts/identities


A key indicator of this experience would be a skill set that includes one or more of the following product suites:

- IBM/Tivoli Identity Management

- Oracle Identity Management (or Oblix/COREid/Thor)

- Computer Associates Identity Management (or Netegrity)

- MIIS (Microsoft Identity Integration Server or MMS (Microsoft Management Server) or Zoomit)

- SunOne Identity Management

- Novell Identity Manager

- BMC Identity Management (or Passlogix)


In addition, the candidate must have experience with one or more of the following technologies:

- Microsoft Active Directory

- SunOne Directory Server (or JavaOne/iPlanet Directory Server)

- Novell eDirectory

- LDAP

- NIS

- Kerberos

- Unix/Linux account management


Additional Requirements:

- Available to travel 2 - 4 days/week

- Excellent presentation, business, analytical, problem solving and communication skills (written and verbal)

- Demonstrated ability to successfully execute procurement activities: RFP responses, trial execution, installation and tuning

- B.A./B.S. in CS/CIS/MIS/Business or related field equivalent
