The Account Executive is responsible for working directly with channel partners (e.g. banks, payroll services companies, etc.) to prospect and sell Skylight/Netspend products and services. The Account Executive serves channel partners in various ways including providing product and process training to channel partner sales representatives, assisting with the introduction and demonstration of our products capabilities, supporting contract negotiation, and closing of sales. Success of this position is based on the quality and quantity of sales produced by the channel partners in the Account Executives geographical region


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist channel partners to identify and qualify new potential corporate clients, including cold calling and lead generation through direct mail marketing, current channel partner corporate clients, and sales

· Demonstrate executive level sales ability by building relationships, qualifying prospects, interfacing at multiple management levels, and successfully securing contracts, as necessary.

· Conduct sales process and product training to channel partner sales representatives, as needed.

· Increase awareness of Skylight/Netspend products and services to channel partner sales representatives.

· Create innovative and effective ways to garner the attention of channel partner sales representatives in the pursuit of increased sales and relationships for Skylight/Netspend.

· Close sales of products for payroll solutions to sales prospects and customers, to meet sales goals and contribute to company profitability. This includes solution design and preparation of proposals, performing or coordinating demonstrations when necessary, and closing the sale as quickly, efficiently and independently as possible by applying a solution-selling methodology and properly managing the sales cycle.

· Complete documentation of all lead information using SalesForce.com.

· Meet monthly goals and objectives for specific geographic territory.

· Attend monthly meetings to review financial position and product updates via conference call.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· The minimum requirement for this position is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 3 to 5 years relevant work in the Financial Services industry preferred.

· Minimum of three years experience selling to “C” level financial executives.

· Prefer two plus years with demonstrable success in bank treasury management sales, card product sales or payroll card sales.

· Account management sales and service within the financial industry.

· Experience within debit card and/or debit card issuing business.

· Demonstrable track record of strong revenue generation.

· Excellent communication, presentation and marketing skills.

· Highly skilled in preparing written and oral presentation.

· Attention to detail.

· Excellent negotiation skills.

· Travel required in assigned territory.
